MI List's third annual Great Women of the Great Lakes Reception, the most successful ever, was convened on the first Sunday in May at the home of former state representative Maxine Berman in West Bloomfield.
As our host this year, Maxine Berman joins the ranks of Marjorie Shuman Saulson, Host of our Inaugural GWGL Reception and Zina Kramer, Host of GWGL II.
Attending were current and former elected officials State Sen Martha G. Scott, 2nd District; State Rep Marie Donigan, 26th District; State Rep Aldo Vagnozzi, 37th District; Vicki Barnett, Mayor Farmington Hills; Kate Segal, Chair Calhoun County Commission; Kathy Tocco and Sarah Roberts Macomb County Commissioners; former State Representatives Maxine Berman, Mary Schroer and Dave Woodward.
Thanks to the commitment and generosity of MI List's donors, this annual tradition is following our plan of doubling the response to our mission each year. Both donors and candidates are stepping forward to build towards a pro-choice majority!
